St. Louis Regional Chamber

The St. Louis Regional Chamber is a major source for information and professional economic development services relating to the 15-county bi-state St. Louis metropolitan area. Although the organization traces its roots back to 1836, it took its current form with the merger of three organizations in 1973. The Regional Chamber takes a strident, customer-focused approach to economic development and helps companies explore all possible solutions throughout Greater St. Louis. Businesses of all sizes, from startups to Fortune 1000s, nonprofits, government agencies, educational institutions, healthcare and labor organizations, are included among its members.

Although the city of St. Louis covers just 65 square miles, the four-county metro region is the largest in population in the state of Missouri. St. Louis provides a colorful backdrop for leading companies in plant science, IT, advanced manufacturing and financial services. Nationally ranked hospitals, universities and research centers make the S.t Louis region a magnet for talent in the biosciences and keep the area on the leading edge of advancements in human health.

St. Louis is also home to fine art and history museums and a 90-acre zoo, all free and all located in the city’s treasured Forest Park. Professional sports teams, a world-class symphony and live equity theater round out the picture for those living and working the area.
